Ace Tennis Coach ("Ace", "we") is run by Chris and Cade Nadeau of MPTennis in New Brunswick, Canada. This page explains what we collect when you use acetenniscoach.ca, why, and what you can do about it. Questions go to chris@mptennis.ca.

What we collect

  • Account info: your email and password (the password is stored encrypted, we can't see it).
  • Your tennis profile: name or nickname, ratings (UTR, WTN, NTRP), playing style, goals, and anything else you add to your profile.
  • What you log: matches, scores, match stats (typed in or imported from SwingVision), opponent types, practice, drills, fitness sessions, XP, badges and challenges.
  • Your coaching chats: the messages you send Ace and the answers it gives, so Ace can remember your game.
  • Community posts: anything you share, comment on or react to in the community.
  • Payment info: if you upgrade, Stripe handles your card. We never see or store your card number. We keep your plan status and a Stripe customer ID.
  • Usage info: how many coaching sessions you use, and basic site analytics (pages visited, device type, rough location by country or city).

Why we use it

  • To run your account and give you coaching that fits your game.
  • To track your season, ratings and progress.
  • To handle payments and plan limits.
  • To send you emails about Ace if you signed up for them. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • To fix bugs and see which features players actually use.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for ads.

What other players can see

If you join Season 2026, your name or nickname, level and XP can show on the leaderboard. Posts, comments and reactions you make in the community are visible to other players. Your chats, match details and ratings history stay private unless you share them.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run Ace. Each one only gets what it needs for its job:

  • Supabase: stores your account and data.
  • Vercel: hosts the website.
  • Anthropic (Claude): the AI that writes Ace's coaching answers. Your messages and profile details are sent to it to create each answer.
  • Stripe: handles payments.
  • MailerLite: sends our emails.
  • Google Analytics: tells us how people use the site.
  • Supademo: runs the product demos on the homepage.

Some of these companies store data outside Canada, mostly in the United States. That means your data can be subject to the laws of those countries. We may also share info if the law requires it.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and for Google Analytics. They also remember small settings, like if you closed the install prompt. You can block cookies in your browser, but signing in may not work.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days. Payment records may be kept longer where tax law requires it.

Your choices

  • See or fix your data: most of it is on your profile and dashboard. For anything else, email us.
  • Delete your account: email chris@mptennis.ca from your account email and we'll delete it.
  • Stop emails: click unsubscribe in any email.
  • Cancel Pro: from your settings page, any time.

Kids

Ace is not for children under 13. If you are under 18, get a parent or guardian's okay before you sign up. If you think a child under 13 has an account, email us and we'll delete it.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted passwords and access rules so players can only see their own private data. No system is perfect, so if we ever have a breach that affects you, we'll tell you.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If it's a big change, we'll email you.
